Welcome to Building in Paradise.- House Location: Lower Castle, St. Peter . Barbados. West Indies. This site, seeks to go through the builing process from start to finished, from idea to completion. Sadly i dont think a day by day report will be a good idea right now, as nothing is happening, (still waiting on town and country planning department in Barbados, to give me the approval), then i still have to wait on a financial institution, being the credit union or a bank to see if i can qualify for the money to build the house, and get a move on. Now i would say that idea was always in my head to start building a house. But i would say the real push to get this house going started about September 2005.
All of these are things i had to go through before i could even think about driving down a nail or laying down a block on a place to call my own. Now remember these are just my stages i (Dale Thompson) went through, in trying to build my house In Barbados, Lower Castle to be exact. |
